  • Mohamed Osman: Al-Ahly’s suspension is illegal and we have not resorted to civil courts.

Mohamed Osman, legal advisor to Al-Ahly, confirmed that all the steps taken by Al-Ahly against Abdullah Al-Saeed are 100% legal and correct, and talk of suspending Al-Ahly is against the law.

Mohamed Osman said in an interview with journalist Ahmed Shoubair on the “On Time Stadium” program broadcast on the On Time Sports channel: “All the steps taken by Al-Ahly Club against Abdullah Al-Saeed are 100% legal and correct, and the verdict fining Abdullah Al-Saeed 2 million dollars is a final verdict that cannot be appealed against.”

The club’s legal advisor added: “It is not permissible to resort to any international body before exhausting all stages of litigation before the Egyptian courts, and Al-Ahly has seized Al-Saeed’s assets to ensure that it receives its dues from the player.”
